| "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 Awesome awesome verse. I'd always pray this verse in my prayers whenever I came into the moments of my faith journey which required me to really trust in God -often when a real step of faith was required and I was surrounded by uncertainty. hehe..on another note..will be taking a trip to costa rica in two weeks. craziness. I decided that I would go with some new church peeps..and I'm hoping my wallet won't be hit too hard with hopes of a nice little tax refund. But after this...we're putting a nix on the travel. Time to live a little more frugally...or so I say! | | |
| AHHHHHHHH...fortune. so a good friend of mine..bettyboopers..sent me this link for an article. http://www.christianitytoday.com/ct/2005/march/26.42.html check it out. sooooooooo good. my mom's turning 60 in a few days. she looks like she's in her late 40's. go mom. love you. some pictures from the cruise..to lighten the cold Chicago winter doldrums.

| 2008..bang bang bang! woohoo!...yippeeeeeeeee! it's gonna be a good one. i love this shot..it reminds me of sex in the city or something. Props to ever changing..ever growing in your faith. realizations about yourself..and of course, praise God in the midst of it all. it's great to know that God doesn't view us in black/white..He sees the kaleidoscope of things that encompasses us, and loves us regardless. finally seeing/understanding that for myself.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GEENYBEENY! the apple of my eye: 7 years younger and cuter, but i prayed for her as an only child for 7 years. and lo and behold..there she was. i almost broke her arm while totin her around in the laundry basket when we were little. but she still loves me. many blessings to her, her faith in God, her friendships..everything that encompasses who she is. | | |
| Getting back to His Word and picking up, reading: Becoming a Woman of Purpose. An oldie, but goodie. Christmas is all about giving, loving, bringing hope and joy to those around you. Because we've been given the greatest gift of all. As cheesy as it may sound..but true! Jesus! I love CHRISTmas..I don't care how pc our world has become. I am going to say Merry Christmas to everyone I meet. Yucko to Happy Holidays! booo! | | |
